Free glasses at Library:  Well they did have some available. Stood in line at library for half hour only to learn glass supply was exhausted. As time approached, i took advantage of a great opportunity to re-use skills learned in 1960's when first introduced to solar eclipse in public schools.. I was about 12 years old when the skies above Cowtown turned dark mid-day.

It was very special then as it was yesterday.

I also used emergency blanket "lens protector" for some of the shots and for actual direct viewing of the event in progress..
